Designing... its tough. Even for an application as simple as a task/to-do list.

The applications will almost always store data in a database.

For the XssentialXtask, I've decided to launch 2 versions, one a lite and free version, and another a pro/premium and paid version.

The free version will have a simple list creation tool and some other features. Here's a simple first iteration of the lite version:

The pro version will have a much more feature pack list to boot.

I will start with the free version, just to get my name out there in the wild. This version will incorporate a very simple list adding feature. Other features:

• Favorites - for quick entry, especially of recurrent items
• Reminder - for items which have due date today
• Email or Sms items - select multiple items to email or sms to someone

The features are not quite finalised yet, and might be added or removed later on.

For a perspective, the pro version will have a whole lot more going for it, including:

• Recurrent items
• Filtering
• Sub Items
• Cheapest store locator
• GPS/ location-aware integration
• and many others...
